Connecting with your Manifold Kane 1000
- Connect your Kane 1000 to an USB port and Windows will generate a COM3 serial port.
- Set this port at 9600 bauds, 8 bits, no parity and 1 stop bit.
- To speak with your manifold you need a terminal program.
I usually use RealTerm but any terminal will do the job. - Each command must by terminated with CR and LF.
- Send to your manifold "CR" (without quotes and dont forget \r\n at the end) and it will respond with someting like that:

- Now, send "GP

and it responds with:

Caution, don't try more than 16 characters or it won't accept your command.
